Thomas has been a dedicated volunteer for the LVRR Kids Series since 2016.

LVRR: Why do you volunteer for the LVRR Kids Series?
Thomas Brennan: It was time to give back. In the last 25-28 years, I ran a lot of races that the LVRR Club organized. I grew up in a Volunteer Family.

LVRR: What do you like best about the LVRR Kids Series?
TB: The SMILES on the kids faces. Also, working with Great volunteers, and I’m home before lunch.

LVRR: Are you involved with any other LVRR events?
TB: I have volunteered for some Ice Scraper races.

LVRR: What is your day job?
TB: I’m a Sales Representative for Lehigh Valley Janitorial Supply.

LVRR: Do you have any running goals for 2019?
TB: Run two half Marathons. I ran the St. Luke’s Half Marathon in the spring. in October I hope to run in the Runner’s World Half Marathon at Steel Stacks.

LVRR: How many years have you been active with running exercise?
TB: I have been a jock all my life. I started running 28 years ago when a guy at my old job said he could beat me running because I smoked. I trained for 4 weeks, and cleaned his clock. I have been running ever since and gave up smoking in 1993.
