Volunteer Spotlight: Annmarie Faust

Annmarie has been a dedicated volunteer for the LVRR Kids Series since 2015.

LVRR: Why do you volunteer for the LVRR Kids Series?
Annmarie Faust: Our girls (Amanda, Brianna & Christina) ran the Kids Series when they were younger, and loved it! It is such an awesome program. Volunteering allows my husband (Dave) and I to give back to the community – and give other kids a chance to participate – and have a great time!!

LVRR: What do you like best about the LVRR Kids Series?
AF: We volunteer at registration for the 3 & 4 year old age groups. It is fun seeing all the little
kids come up to register and seeing them grow up and move to the next age group the following
year.

LVRR: Are you involved with any other LVRR events?
AF: I am a mentor for the First Strides Program on Tuesday nights.

LVRR: What is your day job?
AF: I am an Administrative Assistant at Olympus Corporation of the Americas.

LVRR: Do you have any fitness goals for 2019?
AF: My goal is to keep running and exercising on a regular basis.

LVRR: How many years have you been running?
AF: Thirteen years. My husband would run with our daughters in the Parkway and I thought
why not join them, so I started running too.
