Volunteers Are the Backbone of LVRR

As a 100% volunteer-based organization (no one is paid!) we rely heavily on our members and even members of the local community to host our events.
In return for our free races and our very low-cost paid events, we simply ask for an hour or two in return once a year as a volunteer.
LVRR also offers a Volunteer Incentive Program where we gift you in return for your volunteerism with our club. You can learn more about that below.

VOLUNTEER INCENTIVE PROGRAM

Our incentive program is designed to promote volunteerism within our club. This is a great way to get to know your fellow club members while giving back to the community at the same time.

LVRR will be tracking club members who will earn points for each time they volunteer based on the following criteria:

1 point per race or *qualifying event

Three brackets are based on current year volunteer numbers and a special volunteer gift will be awarded to those **qualifying club members at the conclusion of the year. The point cycle will begin on January 1 and end on December 31 of each year.

* earn points by volunteering at a race, race expo, clubhouse cleanup
** Club membership must be current through the current year

Gold

10 or more Points

Earn choice of an LVRR Jacket or a race entry to St. Luke’s Half Marathon

Silver

6-9 Points

Earn choice of LVRR Duffel Bag or a race entry to either Tailgate Trot 10k or St. Luke’s 5k

Bronze

3-5 Points

Earn a one-year LVRR Membership
