This annual event has been taking place since before the formation of LVRR (1993), back when the Lehigh Valley Athletic Association and the Emmaus Road Runners would race up and down South Mountain to gain bragging rights for the coming year. After the two clubs merged to form LVRR, the run continued as a fun way to usher in the new year.

This race was moved into the Lehigh Parkway to avoid growing traffic on the narrow country roads. We will still have a 5-mile course and a 5K course, along with a champagne stop. Following the run, meet back up at the clubhouse for some hot chocolate, hot dogs, and sweets.
