Q&A with Our Newest Board Members

Please welcome Robert Blizard, Mitch Hanna and Ingrid Moore to the LVRR Board of Directors. Here are some fun facts about them.

Robert Blizard

  1. How many years have you been a member of LVRR?
    I am not totally sure, but my best guess is 10 years.
  2. What do you hope to contribute as a Board Member?
    I hope to help the organization achieve its strategic goals. I hope to offer the perspective of both a recreational runner and a CPA.
  3. Where is your favorite place to train?
    Parkway – 1. Rodale Fitness Park – 2. St. Luke’s Human Performance Center when the weather demands indoors.
  4. What is your favorite hobby?
    I have many hobbies, mostly doing with the outdoors: backpacking, camping, hiking, and kayaking.
  5. What is your favorite book?
    I am a horror book fan. My favorite book is “The Stand”.
  6. What is your day job?
    CPA.
  7. Any running goals for 2021?
    Actually, find a live race! Nothing more than half marathons for me this year.
  8. What are your goals for the club?
    It is still too new to know!

Mitch Hanna

  1. How many years have you been a member of LVRR?
    Since 2014, but I ran the Kid’s Series as a child.
  2. What do you hope to contribute as a Board Member?
    Get more millennial members involved.
  3. Where is your favorite place to train?
    Trexler Nature Preserve.
  4. What is your favorite hobby?
    Cooking.
  5. What is your favorite book?
    11/22/63.
  6. What is your favorite movie?
    “Prefontaine”
  7. What is your day job?
    Marketing Professional at Butz and Retail Associate at Aardvark Sports Shop.
  8. Any running goals for 2021?
    Complete an ultramarathon and build a base.
  9. What are your goals for the club?
    Come out of the Covid-19 crisis stronger.

Ingrid Moore

  1. How many years have you been a member of LVRR?
    About 8 years.
  2. What do you hope to contribute as a Board Member?
    Learn and listen as I am a new Board Member and I want to find out where help is needed most. I really want to find a way to help runners of all abilities have a greater love of running – whether through training or social opportunities.
  3. Where is your favorite place to train?
    I live very close to Trexler Park so I run there a lot as well as other parks and trails in the area.
  4. What is your favorite hobby?
    I love to cook and bake!
  5. What is your day job?
    Wife and mom extraordinaire and I love volunteering in the community.
  6. Any running goals for 2021?
    I signed up for the Rock the Nock 1/2 Marathon in April. That is the only race I have signed up for. If all goes well, maybe the Rehoboth Beach Marathon in December. I cannot wait for LVRR Thursday morning running group to resume.
  7. What are your goals for the club?
    To continue to have the club be a welcoming, friendly and fun place for all runners in the Greater Lehigh Valley.
