    Ed Lundeen (pictured at right)

LVRR: How many years have you been a member of LVRR?
Ed: I don’t remember how long I’ve been a member — maybe 6 or 7 years. It’s not amnesia, I just don’t do well with that kind of memory.

LVRR: What do you hope to contribute as a Board Member?
Ed: As a Board Member, I’d like to root out corruption and arrange for world peace. Barring that I’d like to get more involved with helping plan races and engaging other folks who are as bad at running as I am.

LVRR: Where is your favorite place to train?
Ed: I train mostly in my own neighborhood — there is a big hill that goes up Cedar Crest Blvd. that I love to hate — like S. Mountain but only 1/3rd as long.

LVRR: What is your favorite hobby?
Ed: Favorite hobby? Christmas Jigsaw puzzles.

LVRR: What is your favorite book?
Ed: “The Beginning of Infinity” by David Deutsch — I’ve recommended it to dozens of people and had dozens of puzzled looks.

LVRR: What is your day job?
Ed: By day, I’m a clinical psychologist.

LVRR: Any running goals for 2023?
Ed: For 2023, I’d like to get back in 1/2 marathon shape, or not vomit after a 10K — whichever comes first.

LVRR: What are your goals for the club?
Ed: I seriously appreciate the races the club puts on and want to see those continue and expand — they’re a great community outreach and a great value to many people in the area.
