
The responsibilities of the Timing Team will include but not be limited to the following. You will receive person training on the system.
PRE RACE
- Communicate with Race Director to ensure timer email is assigned within race in Runsignup.
- This allows timer access to Runsignup site during upload to Runscore
- Bibs are assigned on race day in Check in App. You upload registration when check in is done. Race Day Registration will also be captured at this time if applicable.
- Timing Team is responsible for bringing the following to the race: time clock, 2 clickers, bib tag holders, result boards, double stick tape, computer, electrical strip, extension cord.
- A Race Day box is available for ease on race day.
- Race Director will handle bibs and any Race Day Check in / Registration tasks
RACE DAY
- Timing Team member doing finish – Discuss finish area with Race Director.
- Set up Time clock (Finish line is set up by race volunteers)
- Set up Race Day Clickers – Explain / Demonstrate use to volunteers
- Explain / demonstrate how the bib tag should go on holder and who it goes to during race.
- Timing Team doing computer – At completion of Race Day registration upload participants to Runsignup system.
- Initialize Blue Tooth Timing
- Race starts – run system
- Sync Clicker Clocks
- Input bib numbers as available – keep on spindle or post to finisher board
- Input race times as available
END OF RACE
- Print 2 copies of results for Race Director
- Print Results (Age and Overall) for posting
- Upload Results to Runsignup
- Download results in html file and email to Race Director (to upload to Website)
