We’re really excited for the summer months, at last! Here is what we’ve been up to since you last heard from us.
In case you didn’t know this, LVRR provides screened stone for the trails in Lehigh Parkway each year. We recently provided $7,500 for over 800 tons of trail mix so that the Parks Department could stone the six miles of trails in the park.
Lehigh Valley Road Runners is proud to once again be a Pink Ribbon Sponsor for the Women’s 5K Classic. This event has been raising money to assist and educate women about female cancers since 1993.
Deadline for scholarships: May 31! Get those applications in before the end of the month. We offer $24,000 in scholarships to seven recipients.
The clubhouse will once again be open on weekends beginning in June. Feel free to stop in to use the bathroom or fill your water bottle.
Call for club members: We will be cleaning up the outside of the clubhouse on Saturday, June 5 at 1:30 PM. If you’re able to, please join us for a quick tidy-up!
Finally, COVID forced our hand to put a temporary hold on our Volunteer Incentive Program. We are starting the program back up for 2021, retroactive to Jan. 1, 2021. You can read about the details and what you can earn just for volunteering by visiting our Volunteer page here.
June Summer Series 5k – Sign Up/Volunteer
June 2 | 6:30 PM LVRR Clubhouse, Lehigh Parkway
Procrastinators special! Registration will be open until 3PM on June 2nd. We will be handing out race bibs and have our timing clock set up. Yep! The race is on!!
We kindly ask you to wear a mask at the start/finish and no water stop.

Additional race dates: July 10, August 7
20 runners per age group; waitlist enacted once we hit our caps. Check-in from 8:30-9:30 AM. No race day registration.
