There are so many great things on the horizon at LVRR!
To kick things off, registration will open on May 1 for the St. Luke’s Half Marathon, 5k & Youth Run. There are limited spots in each race and once we hit race caps we’ll open up a waitlist for each of the events. Runners from our 2020 events were moved into our 2021 events earlier this week. Registration ends Sept. 15 or once we hit race caps.
Next, registration for the June Kids Series will open on Monday, May 3rd. There are 20 available spots per age group. Registration for the July event will open at the conclusion of the June race.
We host our second in-person event this year on Wednesday, May 5th — the May Summer Series 5k. Things that have changed include no race bibs, no timing clock — runners time their own race and upload their results, race waves, no post-race dinner. But, at least we’re running together again!
Registration will be open until 3PM on May 5th. Time your own race and upload results via link provided. We will have QR codes posted around the clubhouse that will take you directly to the Upload Results page. Plus, we’ve got a surprise for everyone registered! Volunteers still needed.
Deadline for Scholarships: May 31! Get those applications in before the end of the month. This year we increase our Tom Illick Memorial Scholarship from $2,000 to $4,000.
