Would you like to become more involved in your club? Are you interested in learning how the club functions behind the scenes? If so, please consider running for the LVRR Board of Directors. We have two positions currently vacant.
As a non-profit organization and as a certified USATF Club, we follow an established set of guidelines (i.e. bylaws) related to policies, finances, planning, and general activities. These affiliations allow the club to obtain insurance when required to host events, provides us nonprofit tax status, and helps elevate our presence in the community so we can live out our mission to build a strong and healthy community through running.
Individuals should have an interest in helping to plan and implement club activities. As a volunteer organization, Board Members are not paid for their service and give of their free time to help manage and develop club activities. Individuals must be a club member for at least one year in good standing to be nominated.
