First Strides® Registration Open

The summer/fall session of First Strides® starts again very soon! First Strides® is a 10-week program to help you comfortably progress to a healthy habit of walking, jogging, or running at a pace that is right for you. We meet Tuesday or Wednesday nights, or you can register for both nights if you would like to meet your goals more quickly. Our workout program is formatted with:  

  • Local experts offering short fitness and wellness presentations on topics ranging from nutrition to what to wear to injury prevention
  • Gentle warm-up exercises
  • Group walk/run (determined by pace)
  • Post-workout stretch and do a group walk/run
  • Tips, techniques, and guidance from group mentors

Registration for First Strides Summer/Fall session is open. You can join us:

  • Tuesdays 6:15-7:45, July 25 through September 26 ($45)
  • Wednesdays 6:15-7:45, July 26 through September 27 ($45)
  • Double your fun and join us both nights ($85)

Our graduation goal for the fall session is the Women’s 5K Classic on October 7, 2023: https://womens5kclassic.org/.
