Summer Series 5k

This is a fun, no frills race series held every first Wednesday evening throughout the summer in Lehigh Parkway. The course is on a mostly flat, cinder trail through the park and winds it’s way along the creek. As the summer wears on the temperatures are sure to promise a challenge for every racer.

Bring a covered dish and stick around afterwards for a good old fashioned barbeque and fun.

Again in 2013 we will offer this event for FREE. It is free for club members and non-club members alike. You are still required to wear a race bib and sign a waiver. We will set up a timing clock and tear off the bottom of your bib to post your placement on the Finisher’s Board.

September 4 – 6pm  2nd annual twosome relay! This is a male/female relay to be directed by fellow club member, Amby Burfoot.

Course: LVRR 5K course. Accurately measured, mostly flat, cinder trail in the Parkway.
Entry Fee: NONE – One more way the club supports and encourages fitness for our community.
Participants must register.
Timing and Results: Each race accurately timed and individual results will be posted. You will be able to
check your overall and age group results after each event.
**Note: No awards will be given**
