Free, No-Frills Race Series
2026 Dates: May 6 – June 3 – July 1 – August 5 – September 2
The Summer Series is a local favorite held once per month from May through September. The course meanders along Little Lehigh Creek beneath mature trees in Lehigh Parkway.

RACE DETAILS
CHECK-IN: starts at 5:15 p.m.
START TIME: 6:30 p.m. (Sept. starts at 6:00 p.m.)
LOCATION: LVRR Clubhouse, Lehigh Parkway, Allentown
TIME LIMIT: 60 minutes (19:35 minute mile pace)
AGE REQUIREMENT: 10 years old and up
Registration is online only. No race day registration.
Online registration ends at 4:45 PM on race day.

ADDITIONAL INFO
- We no longer host a Potluck Dinner. The Club provides hot dogs, water, and bagged chips.
- No awards will be given. Results will be posted to the LVRR website.
- All participants are required to sign a waiver at time of registration.
- All participants must be 10 years of age by the date of each race for which they are registered.
- All participants under 18 must have parental consent.
- Bicycles, skateboards, baby joggers, roller skates or roller blades, animals (including dogs), and personal music players are not allowed in the race.
- The race committee reserves all rights to alter the course and/or alter the race distance, or cancel the race due to public safety.
2025 ALTERNATE COURSE
Race start will be on Park Drive near the park’s public bathroom. Racers will cross over the Pedestrian foot bridge by LVRR Clubhouse, turn left and stay to the right onto the macadam. Run up the hill (Park Drive) and continue until you are on Bogert’s Bridge Rd (stone/white barn on left). Turn left after this barn and another left back onto the Little Lehigh Parkway path. Continue on the path, heading towards the kayak parking lot. Continue on Little Lehigh Parkway path, heading towards Robin Hood Bridge. Turn right to cross over Robin Hood Bridge and then a right to get back onto the Little Lehigh Parkway Path and come back to the clubhouse to finish line.

Race Bandit Policy
A race bandit is any runner taking part in a race without the permission of the race directors, which can include but is not limited to joining the race field without registering or running while wearing another runner’s race bib. Lehigh Valley Road Runners has adopted the following policy in regard to runners who bandit at any and all of our events:
Race bandits will be banned from all LVRR events for a period of one year. If caught wearing a bib that is not your own, both parties will be banned from all LVRR events for a period of one year.
