2012 Emmaus 4 Mile Classic

2013 will mark the 36th anniversary of the Emmaus Road Race. Our event includes a 1-mile fun run primarily for children, and a 4-mile road race for any age runner. The races start and finish at Emmaus High School and run through the quiet, residential neighborhoods of the Borough of Emmaus.

Entry Fee: $20.00 (+ $2.20 processing fee); $25.00 (+ $2.50 processing fee) after February 1, 2013
No race day registration.
Registration for the 1-mile fun run only takes place day of race.

Awards: $100-1st Overall M & F; $75- 2nd Overall M & F; $50- 3rd Overall M & F; $50-1st Masters (40+) M & F – NO DUPLICATION OF AWARDS

Gift Certificates and custom mug to top 3 in age groups: under 15, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over

Numerous random prizes at awards ceremony- must be present to win

One Mile Fun Run- 9:15 AM $1 registration (race day only)- out and back on sidewalk around EHS.

Post Race: All Runners invited to one of the best post-race spreads around with food and drinks provided by Emmaus Bakery, Weis Markets, Giant Food Stores, Manhattan Bagel, LV Coca Cola Bottling and Fountain Syrup Plants, Louie’s Bakery, Bear Swamp Beverage, & Beerco.

Proceeds from the Emmaus Race go toward the Ed Thompson/Nicole Reinhart Memorial Scholarship fund. You can learn more about these scholarships here. Any additional proceeds that are raised from this race are used by LVRR in its goal to promote health and fitness in the Lehigh Valley through participation in the sport of running.

Application for this scholarship is made through the Guidance Office of Emmaus High School.
