Membership in Lehigh Valley Road Runners has many benefits, including the opportunity to meet other runners. Some of the benefits you will enjoy as a member of the club include: Group Training Runs, Women’s Training Group (First Strides), Bimonthly Newsletter, Member Socials, New Year’s Day Run & Buffet, Dip-in-da-Crick Polar Bear Plunge, Prediction Run, Picnics, Access to Clubhouse, Member-only Website, Happy Hours, and much more. You will also enjoy being a part of an organization that contributes to a variety of local organizations such as the Allentown Park System, Special Olympics, area High School Track & Cross Country Programs, area shelters, as well as offering scholarships to area high school students entering college.

Individual Membership – Entitlement to all club benefits, activities and voting privileges. Full single dues are $20.

Family Membership – Available for families where both adults wish to be club members. Both must reside in the same household. Family dues are $25 (Marriage is not a requirement to constitute a family).

You can now pay your dues online or send an application in with your check. There is a processing fee for all online registrations: $2.20 for Individual and $2.50 for Family Memberships.

Changes In Membership Renewal
We now offer membership renewal online. Not only that, but we will be notifying members via email when your membership is about to lapse and your annual fees are due.  Simply visit THIS LINK and complete your membership renewal. You will have an option on the form to receive future notifications either by email or regular mail.

We realize that not everyone wants to renew their membership online, therefore paper renewal forms will still be available to those who wish to do things that way. You can download a renewal form on our website and send it in with your payment.

More Changes for Membership Renewal
As of January 2012 we will be making another big change as to how we renew our membership each year. We will be moving to a common renewal date for all of our members. Membership will run from January 1 – December 31, a full calendar year. Payments are due two weeks before the calendar year begins, December 15^th of each year for the upcoming calendar year. During the 2012 transitional year we will be working on getting everyone onto the same schedule so that for 2013 we are all on the same payment schedule.

Q. What does this mean for me? I just renewed my membership two months ago for another year?

A. When your membership comes due next year you will pay the fee for whatever quarter you are in. Remember, you will still need to renew again in December for the following calendar year.

Q. How do these changes affect new members who join throughout the year?

A. Our year will be broken into quarters. Members who join throughout the year will pay the membership fee for whichever quarter they join in based on the following pro-rated scale:

January 1 – March 31 $20
April 1 – June 30 $15
July 1 – September 30 $10
October 1 -December 31 $25
